The works in this series captures scenes when commuting from one point to another. On a more metaphorical level the paintings are about moving through life. We are often moving so fast that we don’t see the details of our commute until we put a pause button on it. Sometimes on our journey we are caught on a one way street or we catch a peep down an alley that reveals an alternate route. This series is a way to capture what we might miss while moving from place to place.
