Studio Break-in

I cleaned, painted and organized the studio, then last night someone broke in. Luckily nothing was really taken or damaged. My bathroom key is gone and the screen to the window and one of the light fixtures has been damaged but, whoever it was, mostly just hung out. A half finished liter of soda was left in one room. Maybe they just needed a place to rest and refresh before moving on. My husband said that perhaps because the studio was so clean and organized they didn't do as much damage as they could of. I'd like to think they won't be back but, I can't be sure so, I'm taking some measures to make sure the place is more secure.

Even though nothing was taken, it still feels creepy and it's going to take awhile before I can get it back to feeling like my space again. It's not the first time creepy things have happened in the studio. It's located on the second floor and has a wall that blocks the door from the street so, it is a nice haven for people to cozy up on the landing without being seen. I wish it hadn't happened but, it is what it is.

While they were cozied up in my studio, I was putting together this video. It's the reason why I was spending so much time fixing the place up. I wanted to give all of you a virtual tour. So, here it is and I hope you enjoy it.
