The Shoe
The white shoe is not easy to paint and I was painting all around it until today. It was frustrating but at least it looks more like a shoe now and less like a cauliflower growing from her leg. I have a personal deadline, which is by the end of this month. It doesn't even look like I'm going to get close to having some kind of finished painting. Better get cracking! Closeup

School has started and at first I was pleased to have a routine again, but after a week of not stepping into the studio, I can feel that old, dull ache creeping back.
